For the 78th time, Frankfurt Book Fair will open its doors this October, bringing together readers, authors, and publishers to celebrate the power of storytelling. This year, Czechia will take centre stage as the Guest of Honour under the motto “A Country on the Coast.”
Inspired by Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, the theme invites visitors to discover Czechia as part of the vast ocean of world literature, while marking the start of a year dedicated to showcasing the richness, diversity, and vitality of Czech culture.
Shaped by a wealth of literary traditions and a vibrant contemporary creative scene, Czechia offers a unique blend of classical influences and modern perspectives.
